The Colour Explosion

This week we began our Changes of Matter topic by conducting our very first experiment of the year. 

We started by adding milk to a bowl then added four different types of food colouring. After, we then added dish washing liquid to the mixture which created a swirling whirlpool of colours. 

This is a really easy and fun experiment to try at home!

Kelly Sports Fun

Room 17 had so much fun playing football, hockey and obstacle course games with the Kelly Sports crew. This is a great after school activity to take part in when new to sports.

Scaredy Squirrel

In Room 17 we have been reading the book Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt. Like Scaredy Squirrel we are learning to take more risks in our learning we have started this by setting ourselves goals we would like to achieve. Let's fly into learning this year!
