Week 7, Term 1

TWO MORE SLEEPS UNTIL S.A.S!!

As Sleepover at School is approaching us soon please remember to check the gear list and pack all the essentials. Here are some pictures from S.A.S last year, look at how much fun they are having!

Week 6, Term 1

For Mathematics we having been learning about measurement. It is important that we recognise that all things come in different shapes and sizes. We have been using standard and non standardised units to measure a range of concepts. 

Here we used our bodies to compare heights and widths

Week 5, Term 1

In Room 17 we have been learning about electricity. We have been investigating, inquiring and exploring into how it all works. 

First we looked at a circuit. And learnt that it had an electrical flow of electrons that continuously went around the circuit.

Next we opened up a torch to see what was inside. It was different to how most people expected it would look.  

We will soon be moving onto insulators and conductors.
